• Lotus Connections’ Dogear service - the social bookmarking service - enables tagging and sharing bookmarks.

• Communities bring people together with common interests and assignments. It is possible for community members to discuss relevant issues, conduct polls to gather information, and share resources. It includes a content repository, content management and team collaboration capabilities, and connectors that allow you to access Lotus Quickr from within desktop applications. Lotus Quickr Content Integrator is middleware that helps you integrate and migrate content from existing repositories into Lotus Quickr team places. The Lotus Sametime 8.0 telephony service includes voice and video chat functions and the click-to-call function. Along with these new features of voice and video chat and the click-to-call functions. By utilizing the extensible platform based on the Eclipse plug-in framework which Lotus Sametime 8.0 provides, it is possible to expand real-time communication with telephony and audio-visual capabilities. Lotus Sametime Telephony client toolkit can be used to develop new plug-in applications on top of Lotus Sametime Connect.
